DISTRICT NAME CHANGE

At the First Quarter Conference on October 29, 2011, the District Board of Directors voted to change the district's name back to the previous “New York – New England District of Optimist International.” The motion to to make the change was proposed at the District Convention, August 6, 2011, but was tabled in order to poll the district's clubs.
